Marquinhos happy amid Man United link

Transfer Rater: Marquinhos to Man United

Jordan Pickford has Everton medical ahead of Sunderland switch - sources

Shaka Hislop feels Jordan Pickford has done enough to warrant a potential starting job at Everton.

Jordan Pickford was undergoing a medical on Thursday morning at Everton ahead of sealing a big-money move from Sunderland, sources have told ESPN FC.

Sources told ESPN FC earlier this week that Everton had made a move for Pickford, agreeing a deal which could rise to £30 million for the goalkeeper.

Everton are keen to tie up the transfer as quickly as possible and have sent out a delegation to Poland -- where Pickford is preparing for the European Under-21 Championship with England -- to conduct a medical.

Pickford underwent the first part of his medical on Wednesday with the second part due to take place on Thursday, as Everton hope to finalise his move before the end of the week and sign a No. 1 keeper for next season.

The 23-year-old was one of Sunderland's shining lights last term despite their relegation from the Premier League and he picked up their Player of the Year award.
