No Lyon contact over move for Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez - agent

Alejandro Moreno says MLS should go all-out to lure Javier Hernandez, regardless of his hefty salary demands.

Lyon have not contacted Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez about a potential move from Bayer Leverkusen, his agent has told footmerdcato.net.

Hernandez, 29, has 12 months left on his Leverkusen deal, but their mid-table Bundesliga finish saw them miss out on European football.

That sparked speculation that Mexico international Hernandez would seek to leave, and Lyon -- likely to lose last season's top scorer Alexandre Lacazette in the summer -- have been heavily linked with a move for him.

But agent Eduardo Hernandez said: "There's nothing new for the moment. In France, he's perhaps been talked of at Lyon, but there's been no contact.

"Chicharito hasn't decided anything yet. He's with the national team [for the Confederations Cup] and that's all."

The agent said Real Sociedad's Carlos Vela, another of his clients -- also linked with Lyon -- was in the same situation.

"People have perhaps talked about it in France, but not in our agency nor in their respective clubs," he added.
