Edinson Cavani says he would welcome Aubameyang or Alexis Sanchez at PSG
Edinson Cavani says he would welcome the summer arrivals of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexis Sanchez to reinforce the Paris Saint-Germain squad.
With Monaco having all but ripped the Ligue 1 crown from PSG's grasp, a disappointment compounded by their spectacular exit from the Champions League, the club's ambitious Qatari owners are reportedly seeking to strengthen coach Unai Emery's hand ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
Both Borussia Dortmund striker Aubameyang and Arsenal's Sanchez have been strongly linked with a switch to the Parc des Princes during the coming transfer window.
A source told ESPN FC earlier this month that PSG are interested in Aubameyang, though their focus remains on Sanchez.
The pair would provide stiff competition for places up front for Cavani, but with his position bolstered by a massive 35 league goals this season and 49 in all competitions for PSG, the Uruguay international would be only too happy to see the heavyweight duo beef up attacking options in the French capital.
"If they come, they're very welcome. We're here for the team," Cavani, 30, who recently signed a contract extension through to 2020, told Canal+.
"You always hope new players complete the team with their qualities."
