Beijing Guoan complete signing of Red Bull Salzburg's Jonathan Soriano

Jonathan Soriano is reported to have signed a three-year deal.

Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan have announced the signing of Spanish striker Jonathan Soriano from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.

Soriano, the Europa League's top scorer in the 2013-14 season, has finished top of the goal-scoring charts in Austria for each of the last three seasons.

Reports said the 31-year-old, who previously played for Espanyol, had signed a three-year contract with Beijing.

He joins compatriot Jose Gonzalez, named as successor to former head coach Alberto Zaccheroni, at the club.
