Adrian Ramos joins Granada on loan ahead of Chongqing Lifan move
Adrian Ramos has completed his loan move from Borussia Dortmund to Granada ahead of joining Chinese Super League club Chongqing Lifan in the summer.
Ramos, 31, had been linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion, having struggled for game time at Dortmund and appearing mainly as a substitute.
The Colombia international will now feature for La Liga strugglers Granada for the rest of the season, having been training with the club this week after passing a medical.
At the end of the campaign Ramos will then link up with Chongqing Lifan for a reported fee of around €12 million. The club are under the same ownership as Granada, which has enabled the loan agreement.
"Adrian Ramos was presented with a lucrative offer from China last year," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said in a club statement.
"When he came to us once again during the winter to express his desire to leave the club and move to China, we decided to grant his wish. Moreover, it is a very valuable offer for a player who turned 31 last Sunday."
Ramos' new club Granada are currently sitting in La Liga's relegation zone and have picked up only 10 points from 19 games this season.
The striker joined Dortmund from Hertha Berlin in 2014, scoring 13 goals in 52 Bundesliga appearances during his time at the club.
