Tottenham may consider good bid for Kevin Wimmer - agent
Tottenham Hotspur do not want to sell Kevin Wimmer in January but will consider "a good offer," the Austria international defender's agent has said.
Wimmer, 24, signed a new five-year contract in July but he has made just two Premier League appearances this season and often been left out of the matchday squad.
He has been linked with a January move to clubs including Southampton, Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund, but agent Jurgen Werner said he was more likely to leave in the summer if the situation does not change.
"The plan [for January] is nothing, but there are a lot of requests," Werner told Spox. "Spurs want to keep him. But if a good offer comes, they too will have to deal with it.
"If nothing changes until the summer, we will have to look."
Sources told ESPN FC that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino was open to selling Wimmer in August.
But the defender has started important matches against Arsenal and Chelsea this season, and Pochettino has frequently said he is part of his plans.
