Free agent Dimitar Berbatov eyeing Premier League return
Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov is open to returning to play in the Premier League.
Berbatov, 35, is available on a free transfer after leaving PAOK Salonika in June.
"When you've played in the Premier League you don't want to play anywhere else," the Bulgarian told BBC 5 live Sport.
"In this stage of my career I know where I am -- I would happily play for a team where they use my experience and my knowledge.
"I can help young players develop and make the team stronger. In the end it's all about helping the team play."
Berbatov joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2006 and went on to score 27 goals in 70 Premier League appearances, before signing for United in 2012 where he netted 49 times in 108 top-flight appearances.
He later joined Fulham before leaving for Monaco and then signing for PAOK on a one-year deal in 2015.
