Poland's Bartosz Kapustka signs for Leicester City from Cracovia

Leicester City have announced the signing of Poland winger Bartosz Kapustka on a five-year contract.

Kapustka, 19, joins the Premier League champions from Cracovia for an undisclosed fee.

Kapustka made over 60 appearances for Cracovia, with his displays leading to an international debut for Poland in September 2015 when he came on as a substitute against Gibraltar.

He was part of the Poland squad at this summer's European Championship in France and produced an impressive display in the opening group game against Northern Ireland.

Speaking late last month, Kapustka outlined his reasons for choosing to sign for Claudio Ranieri's Leicester.

"Yes, of all the offers tabled, Leicester wanted me the most," Kapustka told Telewizja Polska, in quotes reported by Sky Sports.

"Ranieri's interest was a big factor for me. He was asking about me, he wanted me to join the team. This convinced me, but there were many factors.

"I'm not going there only because of the name of the club, or because they won the Premier League. I'm optimistic and think I have a real chance of playing time."

Kapustka is the fifth new arrival at the King Power Stadium during the close season following the arrivals of Luis Hernandez, Ron-Robert Zieler, Papy Mendy and Ahmed Musa.
