Borussia Dortmund: No Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang-to-Real Madrid deal

Borussia Dortmund have strongly denied a report that Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

German newspaper Express reported that Real had an agreement to sign the striker for a fee in the region of €90 million this summer.

The Gabon international, the Bundesliga's second top scorer this season with 22 goals, has previously spoken of his desire to play in Spain and said his childhood dream is to represent Real.

However, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said any suggestion of a deal for the 26-year-old forward is wide of the mark.

"That's just nonsense," Zorc told Bild. "We neither received an offer nor an enquiry."

Aubameyang is under contract at the Westfalenstadion until 2020 after extending his deal last summer.
