Bournemouth's Matt Ritchie on Manchester United radar - sources

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie as they look to bolster their attacking options, sources have told ESPN FC.

United boss Louis van Gaal said earlier this week he is looking to add wingers to his squad as he feels he needs some pace out wide if he is turn United into serious title contenders.

Ritchie, 26, has been Bournemouth's standout performer in their first season in the Premier League, and sources say he is now on United's radar as a potential January option if they fail to land their top targets.

Ritchie was instrumental in helping Bournemouth win promotion last season with 15 goals and 17 assists in the Championship, and he has scored two spectacular goals against Sunderland and Tottenham so far this season in the Premier League.

Ritchie also broke into the Scotland team earlier this year and netted in impressive fashion in last month's Euro 2016 qualifier with Poland.

United are also reported to be interested in Southampton's Sadio Mane, Leicester's Riyad Mahrez and Lazio's Felipe Anderson.
