Real Madrid's Paul Pogba interest is 'logical,' Zinedine Zidane says

Zinedine Zidane says it is only "logical" that Real Madrid are interested in signing Paul Pogba in the summer.

Madrid are one of only a few in Europe able to match Juventus' reported €100 million asking price for the French midfielder, and have apparently already registered their interest.

Juve have said they will not be able to stand in the 22-year-old's way if he seeks an exit and Zidane, who currently coaches Real Madrid Castilla, told Canal Plus that the Spanish giants would certainly be keen to sign the France international.

"I don't know where he will go -- you will have to ask him," Zidane, who has regularly been touted as a future Madrid boss, said. "Right now he's with Juve. Considering his age and his potential, I think he still has plenty of margin for improvement.

"And when we are talking about a player like him, it's only logical that Real or another big club are interested. It's logical, isn't it? He's young, strong and can get even better."

Pogba's agent recently suggested the midfielder, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, had no particular desire to move to the Bernabeu.
