Alessio Cerci completes 18-month loan deal to Milan from Atletico Madrid

AC Milan have completed the signing of Alessio Cerci from Atletico Madrid on an 18-month loan deal.

Cerci, 27, signed the contract with the Rossoneri as soon as the Italian winter transfer window opened on Monday with the former Torino forward saying a few days ago that he was "delighted" to be moving to the San Siro.

Milan confirmed the news in a tweet while Fernando Torres, whose move to Atletico on similar terms is now also official, was presented in front of around 45,000 fans at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday

Cerci will not have a similar presentation in Milan, although he could make his debut in front of his new fans at home on Tuesday when Sassuolo are the guests for the Rossoneri's first Serie A fixture of 2015.
At the weekend, Cerci will return to face his former club Torino as the club look to improve upon their seventh place in the table.
