Liverpool linked with Divock Origi

Belgium striker Divock Origi says he is dreaming about a possible move to the Premier League after the World Cup.

Liverpool are pursuing a deal for Lille striker Divock Origi, sources have told ESPN FC.

Origi, 19, is currently impressing at the World Cup with Belgium, and will be loaned back to the Ligue 1 side for the 2014-15 season if the signing can be concluded this summer.

The teenager has played a significant part in helping Belgium to the last 16 in Brazil, scoring the winner in their 1-0 Group H victory over Russia. He then replaced the dropped Romely Lukaku in the final group game, a 1-0 win over South Korea. Belgium play the United States in the round of 16 on Tuesday.

He has also been linked with a move to Roma, but last week revealed he would prefer a move to the Premier League. He has also been watched by Tottenham Hotspur.

Origi, who joined Lille from the youth academy of Belgian club Genk in 2010, comes from a strong football background. His father Mike was a striker who played in Belgium for Genk and at international level for Kenya.
