Boss delighted with victory

Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker and Mesut Ozil played in the Gunners' 3-2 victory over Hull City in a dramatic final at Wembley on Saturday.

After celebrating with their teammates in London, the trio will meet up with the Germany squad for a World Cup training camp in South Tirol on Wednesday.

Speaking to the German SID wire service over the weekend, Loew said: "Congratulations to Arsenal and Arsene Wenger for winning the FA Cup.

"As the Bundestrainer, I am especially delighted for our national team players at Arsenal -- Per, Mesut and Lukas. They will now come to South Tirol with momentum."

Bierhoff also praised Arsenal and mentioned the "strong German colony" at the club, which also includes youngsters Serge Gnabry, Gedion Zelalem and Thomas Eisfeld.

"They are all great ambassadors for the DFB [German FA] and for Germany. I like how they all conduct themselves in England," he said. "This is their first major title there, and nobody can take that away from them."
