UEFA may devalue PSG deal

Ibrahimovic, 32, extended his contract by a year in the autumn, tying him to the Ligue 1 leaders until June 2016, and -- in a special edition of an official club magazine dedicated to their star player -- the Sweden international said he would like to see out his playing days at PSG.

“I have a good contract that runs for another two years,” he told 100% PSG. “Is it necessary to say to you that I’m very, very happy with what’s happening to me at the moment?

“You sometimes read in the papers or you hear rumours elsewhere about a possible willingness to leave, so I’ll say it quite simply: I’m happy -- very happy -- in Paris and I have absolutely no intention of finishing my career as a player anywhere else but Paris.”

Ibrahimovic, who was nominated for the French Player of the Year award on Wednesday, recently returned to training after injury.

He could feature in PSG’s next game against Rennes on May 7, when Laurent Blanc’s side will be expected to seal their second Ligue 1 title in a row since Ibrahimovic signed from AC Milan.
