Kolasinac agent denies Man United deal

The agent of Sead Kolasinac has played down rumours that the Schalke left-back is considering an offer to move to Manchester United this summer.

• Okwonga: United need a leader before new signings
• Jolly: Moyes could influence United summer moves

The Red Devils have reportedly targeted the 20-year-old Schalke defender as defensive reinforcement for next season, with German tabloid Bild stating that Bosnian paper Dnevni Avaz backed their claims with a quote by Kolasinac.

"Yes, I have an offer from Manchester. But I’ll take my time and talk to Schalke first," the Bosnia international was quoted as saying by the paper.

However, Kolasniac’s agent Thorsten Weck spoke to Bild and clarified that while clubs are interested in Kolasinac, no offers had been tabled so far.

"There is no offer, but interest from several clubs, also from England," Weck told the paper.

The Germany-born Bosnia international broke into Schalke’s starting XI this season after profiting from the Royal Blues’ injury problems, which saw left-back Dennis Aogo sidelined for the majority of the season.

Kolasinac, a product of Schalke’s famous youth academy, has played 29 games in all competitions, and has not missed a Bundesliga match since the Royal Blues' 3-3 draw at Frankfurt in November 2013.

The player made the headlines when the German tabloid Bild pictured him -- and teammate Felipe Santana – in a Cologne night club at 3am in the morning.

The young Bosnian was dubbed a "party pro" by Germany’s biggest taboid, but started in Schalke’s 1-0 defeat against Borussia Moenchengladbach regardless.

He picked up his fifth yellow card of the season, and is suspended for the Royal Blues’ crucial away fixture at Freiburg next weekend.
