Juergen Klopp: No offer from Man Utd

Juergen Klopp has insisted he has not received an offer from Manchester United and would not welcome one as he vowed to stay at Borussia Dortmund as long as they want him.

Juergen Klopp reiterated that he is happy as the manager of Borussia Dortmund.

Buczko: BVB can cement 2nd

The German, who is under contract at the Westfalonstadion until 2018, had been quick to state that he was not interested in succeeding the sacked David Moyes at Old Trafford.

And Klopp, who reiterated how keen he is to stay at Dortmund, has said that United have not approached him.

He told a news conference: "As long as things continue to go as they are here then I have a clear agreement with Borussia Dortmund. It cannot have anything to do with the greatness of the team even if there were to be an offer.

"To react to all of this is a little bit uncomfortable as there hasn't been an offer so to reject it before an offer comes is personally embarrassing for me."

Former Mainz manager Klopp has won two Bundesliga titles and reached the Champions League final at Dortmund and said his future lies there as long as the club trusts him.

He added: "I think Manchester United is a great club but I am really happy here. There are around 1,000 reasons why I like working at this club.

"The only condition that must be filled, and it is more important than contracts, is that all those involved have to believe I am the right coach for this team. As long as that is the case, I don't have to think about anything else."
