City face Wigan in Cup final rematch

Manchester City will have the opportunity to avenge last season's shock FA Cup final defeat to Wigan after being drawn against the holders at the Etihad Stadium in this year's quarterfinals.

Roberto Martinez guided Wigan to a famous FA Cup final win over Manchester City
Wigan won the first piece of silverware in their history after beating Man City last May.

City beat Chelsea 2-0 at the Etihad in the fifth round on Saturday thanks to goals from Stevan Jovetic and Samir Nasri, while Wigan beat Premier League opposition for the second round in succession, Ben Watson -- their match-winner against Saturday at Wembley last May -- scoring the goal that saw them defeat Cardiff City 2-1.

Elsewhere, Arsenal's reward for beating Liverpool 2-1 is another home tie against a Merseyside club, with Everton set to visit Emirates Stadium following their 3-1 defeat of Swansea.

There will definitely be a lower league club appearing in the semifinals at Wembley as League One strugglers Sheffield United -- the lowest-ranked team left in the competition -- were drawn against Charlton Athletic.

Sunderland's 1-0 win over Southampton may find themselves at Wembley for the second time this season -- they play City in the Capital One Cup final later this month -- if they can overcome Hull City in their final quarterfinal encounter.
