QPR could sign Ravel Morrison on loan

West Ham could allow midfielder Ravel Morrison to join Championship side Queens Park Rangers on loan, the Press Association reports.

WhoScored: Hammers on the up

Although the transfer window for Premier League clubs is now closed, temporary deals can still be done in the lower divisions.

England under-21 international Morrison has not featured for Sam Allardyce's side since the 3-0 home defeat by Manchester City in the Capital One Cup semifinals on Jan. 21 following a recent groin injury. There had earlier been a report -- denied by the club -- that Morrison had gone on strike.

QPR are keen on the former Manchester United trainee -- who had interested Fulham during the transfer window -- as manager Harry Redknapp looks to push for automatic promotion, and talks have taken place over the possibility of a short-term move.

Sky Sports reports that the deal is likely to go through next Friday to ensure his availability for the playoffs.
