Jonny Evans is back in training and could give Manchester United a boost by returning to contention for Wednesday's game at Arsenal.
But a source told ESPN the Northern Ireland international was back on the training pitch ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium.
Captain Nemanja Vidic returned to the United team in the absence of Evans and suffered a torrid time against Fulham.
The Serb, who has announced that he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, conceded possession with a poor header just before Darren Bent scored Fulham's injury-time equaliser.
Manager David Moyes said afterwards: “We gave away a diabolical second goal. It was a game we should have easily seen out. There was no reason not to see it out. It was comfortable.”
Phil Jones also came off against Stoke, when he suffered concussion in a clash of heads, and did not recover in time for the Fulham game, but the England international is expected to be available for the meeting with Arsenal.
United are now nine points outside the top four and Moyes, asked whether he was confident of qualifying for next season’s Champions League, added: "We'll do our best. I'll keep saying we have to win the games that are coming up."
