Benfica's game against Sporting Lisbon at the Stadium of Light -- where the Champions League final will be held in May -- had to be postponed after insulation material from the roof came loose in high winds and began falling on the pitch and some seating.
After pieces of glass wool material began drifting down from the roof of the ground shortly before kick-off -- and with many fans already in their seats -- officials decided the game could not go ahead.
All tickets for the Lisbon derby had been sold, and Benfica announced that the two teams will now try again on Tuesday.
Sporting confirmed the postponement on their Twitter account.
