European giants to tour the U.S.

FC's Alejandro Moreno and Craig Burley agree with the possible 3 match ban Ronaldo faces.

Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City will take part in a summer tournament in the United States.

The International Champions Cup will also feature AC Milan, Inter Milan, Roma and Olympiakos, giving it eight clubs who have won 150 domestic league titles and 27 Champions Leagues between them.

It will be played between July 26 and Aug, 4 in 11 American cities, with the eight teams due to be drawn in two groups of four, followed by semifinals. The final will be played at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on Aug. 4.

Other confirmed host cities are Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington DC, with one more to be announced.

Liverpool last toured the United States in 2012 and chief commercial officer Billy Hogan told their official website: "This will be the club's seventh visit to North America, where we know we have a huge fan base, and being part of this tournament will allow us to bring the club closer to those supporters and engage with them once again."

City will be making their third visit to the United States in four years, after a preseason tour ahead of the 2010-11 campaign and visits to New York and St Louis last year.

United had already announced they will be touring the USA in the summer, although they are yet to confirm how many fixtures they will play or announced the dates and venues.

Real Madrid won the 2013 Champions Cup, beating Chelsea 3-1 in the final.
