Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani believes Napoli were a better team with him in it after receiving his award for best forward in Serie A last season.
The Uruguay international was voted onto Serie A's best team in 2012-13 by his fellow professionals at the Italian Professional Footballers' Association (AIC) annual awards ceremony in Milan on Monday night.
Speaking via a video link from the French capital, the 26-year-old also said he missed Naples, but stressed he is happy to be playing for the Ligue 1 leaders.
"I'm honestly happy in Paris," Cavani said. "Naples and Paris are completely different with many beautiful aspects, and this is the thing about football -- it takes you to different places and you've got to do your best wherever you are.
"Of course I miss Naples because whenever you have good memories of a place, you miss it, like I miss my home country. Napoli have a big advantage of their great fans, but I think our Napoli was stronger than the current one, but they've got what it takes to do better."
Cavani scored 29 times for the Partenopei last season, helping them to a second-place finish which earned them a place in the Champions League. They finished nine points behind champions Juventus while the current Napoli side trail Juve by 12 points.
