No offers for Paul Pogba, says Marotta

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has said the club are yet to receive any offers for Paul Pogba -- and warned anyone wanting to sign him that they would be wasting their time.

Live On The Move: Blues target Costa

Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be heading the queue for the 20-year-old midfielder, who moved to Turin on a free transfer from Manchester United 18 months ago, but Marotta says nobody has made an official approach.

"We've only read about it in the newspapers," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "We recognise his value -- first he was only a prospect and now he's an established player -- but we've not had any offer from Paris Saint-Germain so far and, if one were to arrive, we would have a polite response for them."

While Pogba is unlikely to leave Turin, no new player is set to arrive, according to Marotta. He said Juevtnus admired Alvaro Morata -- a reported target -- but added that the 21-year-old would be too difficult to get.

"He's going to be a really great player, and it's a pity he belongs to Real Madrid," he added. "He's the kind of player who generates a lot of interest, but I don't think it's possible to get him."

However, the chances of Juve keeping hold of Andrea Pirlo beyond the summer are greater. Contract talks are scheduled to take place next month, and Marotta said he did not believe the 34-year-old would need too much persuasion to extend his stay in Turin.
