No more January deals for AC Milan

Keisuke Honda is the first -- and the last -- new face to arrive at AC Milan this month, according to the club's general manager Adriano Galliani.

Paul: Kaka reaches 100

Honda, 27, was presented at the San Siro on Wednesday after completing his free transfer from CSKA Moscow.

The Japan international spoke of his "childhood dream" to wear the No. 10 Rossoneri shirt and laid out his plans to win the Scudetto in the near future.

That dream will not be granted to any other budding Milan player this month, though, with Galliani declaring the transfer window closed, albeit not locked shut.

"Our transfer dealings end here," he said. "Then again, there can always be some surprises. At the moment, we are not planning any more arrivals and when I say something, it reflects the reality at that moment. As of today, no new signings are to be expected.

"Now is not the time to talk about new players arriving -- we've already got 30 of them. [Adil] Rami [on loan from Valencia] and Honda have arrived, [M'Baye] Niang has left [on loan to Montpellier] and we still need to sell a few more players before we can talk about anything else."

One of those potential departures will not be Alessandro Matri, however, with Galliani declaring the former Cagliari and Juventus striker "not for sale at any price."

However, with Honda now on the books, and Giampaolo Pazzini fit again, Matri’s chances could be limited further in 2014.
