Ancelotti: No problems with Di Maria
Carlo Ancelotti has said he has no problems with Angel Di Maria and stressed that Real Madrid do not intend to sell the winger.

Di Maria is being investigated by the club after making an apparent offensive gesture to fans during Monday’s 3-0 win over Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu, and has claimed he is the subject of a media campaign to force him out of Spain.
Other reports have suggested the club would like to cash in on the Argentina international, but Ancelotti told a news conference on Wednesday that “this subject should end quickly.”
“We have lots of games and we need Di Maria,” he added. “He has no problem to play -- he is playing well, is confident and looking forward to a good season. You have to believe him -- if he has upset anyone, he has already apologised.”
Ancelotti reiterated that Madrid would be neither buying nor selling anyone this month, which means reported Manchester United target Fabio Coentrao is also set to stay.
“Our thinking is very clear,” he said. “There will be no new arrivals and no exits. We have a very good squad.”
Di Maria will not start Thursday’s Copa del Rey last 16 first leg at home to Osasuna, but only because of plans to rotate the squad through a busy January, and Ancelotti explained: “Some of the players who played against Celta for 90 minutes might not be in as good a condition to play.”
Xabi Alonso, substituted at half-time in Monday’s game due to a problem with his eardrum, will be rested against Osasuna to allow more time to sort the problem out, the coach said.
“[Alonso] has trained fine, he had no problems,” he said. “But the noise in the stadium discomforted him a bit. He is not comfortable at the moment, and he is not in the squad tomorrow.”
Madrid came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in their last meeting with Osasuna in Pamplona in December, and Ancelotti said getting a positive result in the first leg was important.
“Playing at home is more comfortable than away,” he said. “Osasuna gave us lots of problems in the Liga game -- it will be difficult. Tomorrow, we need to get an advantage for the return leg.”
