Serie A high flyers Roma have announced the capture of Belgium international Radja Nainggolan from Cagliari.
Roma beat Juventus, Milan and Napoli in the race for the Nainggolan’s signature, securing the 25-year-old until 2018.
Roma will pay 3 million euros for Nainggolan to play the rest of the season in the Eternal City and 6 million euros on for the permanent deal.
Nainggolan, born in Belgium to an Indonesian father and Belgian mother, has scored twice in 17 appearances for Cagliari this season.
He has also played four times for Belgium but did not feature in the country’s successful World Cup qualification for Brazil 2014.
