De Sanctis predicts Juve dominance

Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has said he believes Juventus can dominate Italian football "for the next six or seven years" after his side's unbeaten record ended with a 3-0 defeat at the Juventus Stadium.

• Gladwell: Juventus' team attack sparks win over Roma
• Rzouki: Roma implosion gives Juve tenth straight win
• De Martinis:  Well, that was... something

The Giallorossi suffered their first league loss in 20 matches to fall eight points behind Juve in front of a vociferous crowd of 41,635.

And De Sanctis said he believed it would be hard for anybody to dislodge the Old Lady from their position of supremacy, adding: "We all recognise Juve's strength.

"Like I said during the week, the system in Italy [where opponents fear them] makes them even stronger, and the stadium is an advantage too. They are going to conserve this advantage for the next six or seven years.

"They are the only side in Italy who can boast [owning] their own stadium, and it's a huge advantage.

"It's our first defeat of the season, a bitter one because it comes against Juventus and sees us fall eight points behind. Eight points is a lot, but there are also a lot of games still to be played. We know we've got quality -- we've just got to show it on the field."

Antonio Conte -- who declared himself "moderately satisfied" with Sunday's win -- saw his side notch up a ninth victory in a row on home soil.
