Moyes' message sinking in - Jones

Phil Jones believes David Moyes is starting to get his message across and Manchester United’s players are beginning to understand how their manager wants them to play.

Payne: Four in a row eases pressure on Moyes

United recorded their fourth successive win on Saturday when Jones impressed in a 3-1 victory over West Ham at Old Trafford.

And the versatile England international feels the defending champions have turned a corner after a troubled start to the season, when they lost five of their first 15 Premier League games and slumped to ninth place.

Jones told PA Sport: "It has been a good couple of weeks. I think we can all start to feel there is more of an understanding at what the manager wants. The last four games have been an indication we are getting to that stage.

"We are in a good place at the moment. We are playing well. We are passing the ball well."

Jones suggested that United have prospered recently because they have played with more speed in recent games.

"We needed to play at a higher tempo," he added.

"We have done well to bounce back from those disappointments against Everton and Newcastle. We have shown [against West Ham] -- and in the previous games -- [that] we are starting to find our feet again in the United way."
