Napoli move clear of Inter, Fiorentina

Napoli moved five points clear of fourth-placed Fiorentina and seven ahead of Inter Milan with a 4-2 win over the Nerazzurri at the Stadio San Paolo.

• Rzouki: Dominating Serie A

Gonzalo Higuain put Napoli on their way to victory in the ninth minute, but Esteban Cambiasso levelled.

Dries Mertens restored Napoli's advantage and Blerim Dzemaili gave them a two-goal cushion, which was halved by Yuto Nagatomo on the stroke of half-time.

Ricky Alvarez was sent off with 20 minutes remaining and a Jose Callejon strike 10 minutes from time sealed victory for Napoli with Rafael Benitez getting one over his former club.

A Carlos Tevez hat trick helped Juventus open up a six-point lead at the top of Serie A ahead of Roma's trip to AC Milan on Monday night.

The Argentinian also set up the fourth goal in a 4-0 win over Sassuolo as the Bianconeri put their midweek Champions League disappointment behind them.

Fiorentina bounced back from last weekend's defeat at Roma as they comfortably saw off Serie A strugglers Bologna with a 3-0 victory.

Josip Ilicic, Borja Valero and Giuseppe Rossi were on target for the Viola, who went into Sunday's match on the back of Thursday's 2-1 triumph over Dnipro that allowed Vincenzo Montella's side to secure top spot in Europa League Group E.

The result leaves Stefano Pioli's side in 19th place in the league and without a win in all competitions since October.

Lazio secured their first Serie A win since October as a first-half Miroslav Klose double was enough to see off struggling Livorno 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Klose's goals came in the space of seven minutes as he first profited on a Antonio Candreva assist before the Livorno defence was compliant in allowing him to effectively kill off the game inside half an hour.

Sampdoria made it three successive wins as they defeated Chievo 1-0 to leapfrog their opponents in the table.

Eder's first-half header was enough to earn Samp all three points and extend their unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions.

Torino continued their impressive run of form with a 2-0 win over Udinese at Stadio Friuli.

Second-half goals from Alexander Farnerud and Ciro Immobile proved the difference as Torino climbed to seventh in Serie A on the back of their third win in four games.

Parma and Cagliari played out a goalless draw as the Sardinians' long wait for an away win goes on.

In a match with plenty of chances but no goals, Cagliari had their fair share of opportunities to end a winless away run which dates back to February 17.

Giuseppe De Luca scored with almost the last kick of the game as Atalanta snatched a point in a 1-1 draw away to Genoa.

Genoa looked set to extend their strong recent home run after Andrea Bertolacci slotted home in the 72nd minute but Atalanta belied their own dismal recent away form by popping up with the equaliser to make it 1-1 four minutes into time added on.
