A number of hardcore Ultra fans of Lega Pro Prima Divisione club Nocerina have been arrested in relation to incidents prior to the side's game against Perugia at the end of August.
Rival fan groups clashed outside the Stadio San Francesco in Nocera Inferiore on Aug. 30, with eight police officers being left injured as a result.
Four of the total 15 arrested are in police custody, while the remaining 11 are under house arrest.
All 15 are accused of public order offences, resisting the police, violence towards officers and vandalism, as well as carrying dangerous items and weapons.
Police and detectives from Nocera Inferiore and Salerno joined forces to identify the individuals and make the arrests on Friday.
The arrested are also believed to belong to the group of fans accused of forcing the Nocerina players not to take to the field for the local derby at Salernitana earlier this month.
That game was abandoned after Nocerina were reduced to six men as a result of feigning injuries.
It is reported that the team were warned by their club's Ultras not to play as they had been banned from travelling to the local derby out of fear of crowd disturbances.
