Coutinho: I'm stronger after return

Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho believes he has returned to action stronger after six "very difficult weeks" out with a shoulder injury.

Walsh: Reds' dilemma

The Brazilian playmaker needed surgery after suffering the injury during the 2-2 Premier League draw at Swansea.

He made his comeback as a half-time substitute in the 2-0 defeat at leaders Arsenal last weekend, and could return to the starting lineup when Liverpool host Fulham on Saturday.

Coutinho told Liverpool's official website: "I'm very happy to be back. I had six very difficult weeks, and thank God I've made my comeback, but on the other hand I was sad due to the result [at Arsenal].

"However, that's over now, and we must concentrate on our upcoming matches."

The 21-year-old established himself as a key part of Brendan Rodgers' side following an 8.5 million pound move from Inter Milan in January -- but the injury stalled his progress.

He added: "It was really difficult. I'd been fine until then, and having to stop suddenly for six weeks was very frustrating.

"Furthermore, I had to undergo surgery and recovery was complicated, but thank God I'm back now and stronger than ever."

Left-back Jose Enrique, meanwhile, could also return against Fulham. The 27-year-old has not played for a month because of an ongoing knee problem.

Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo: "We're just waiting on Jose. He has trained and his knee is much better, so we'll be hoping he will be available for the weekend.

"That's something we'll assess in the next 24 hours. It will be great to have Jose back."
