Adil Rami to join AC Milan on loan

Valencia have confirmed they will loan controversial defender Adil Rami to AC Milan in January.

Adil Rami was critical of the way Lille performed in the defeat to Monaco
Rami can train with Milan until January.

Rami, 27, was pushed out by Valencia after criticising his teammates and coach Miroslav Djukic in a media interview, with Los Che claiming he damaged the club's interests.

The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move to Milan since falling out of favour at the Mestalla Stadium and he will join the Rossoneri when the transfer window reopens.

Rami will be allowed to train with Milan immediately and it is reported the Italian club have an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

A statement on Valencia's official website read: "Valencia CF and AC Milan have reached a full agreement for the transfer of the player Adil Rami [to the] Rossoneri team in the upcoming winter market.

"Rami, until the opening of that market, has received permission from Valencia CF to train with AC Milan. The Italian team has an option on the French international in this operation."
