Ancelotti: Gareth Bale back after break

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed Gareth Bale is unlikely to return from injury until after the international break as he continues to struggle with muscle fatigue.

• Train: Madrid fly

The Spanish side put in a comfortable 4-0 win over FC Copenhagen on Wednesday without the Welshman, but Ancelotti insisted that he would be back in the coming weeks -- likely in time for the clash with Barcelona on October 26 -- after some rest.

"We are not worried, he has not played because of muscle fatigue and it is nothing special," he said. "He is waiting to recover his optimal fitness. He was not at 100 percent but he will get there because he has 15 days of rest and then will be ready.

"He is not happy and that is normal, he wants to play and is eager but it is not a problem. Now we have time to get him into a good physical condition and avoid injuries."

Ancelotti also credited a change in attitude for his side's destruction of the Danish side. Following last weekend's defeat to Atletico Madrid, Ancelotti admitted Real were forced to heavily concentrate on their approach to the Champions League clash at the Bernabeu and believes there was a significant improvement from his charges.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria each netted a brace to move Real four points clear at the top of Group B and Ancelotti was pleased with the overall performance.

"It was a good match, the start of the match was good, with intensity and a good balance," he said. "Our play was slower after the goal, but in the second half we played with intensity and tried to score until the end. The attitude was good. We changed the attitude and that was good.

"We changed [tactics] because the opposing team were very compact. Cristiano and Di Maria played more open to have more chances to cross. The first two goals came from good combination plays and we used the flanks well. [Asier Illarramendi] Illarra, [Sami] Khedira and [Luka] Modric did a good job."

Ancelotti also commended goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who made his return after suffering an injury in the win over Galatasaray last month.

"He played a great match," Ancelotti added. "At the end he made some great stops and is an institution for everyone here. It is very important that he is in the squad, he is very professional, very focused and really helps his team-mates."
