Clement Grenier has told RMC he has "no regrets" about rejecting a potential move to Arsenal and extending his contract with Lyon this summer.

Grenier, 22, was reportedly a target for the Gunners as he had just a year left on his contract going into the summer transfer window. However, the France international midfielder rejected the Premier League club's advances to ink a two-year extension at the Stade de Gerland.
Though Arsenal have made a flying start to the Premier League while Lyon have stumbled to one win in seven competitive outings after being knocked out of the Champions League in the play-off against Real Sociedad in August, Grenier insisted he was happy with his decision.
"I don't have any regrets about extending my contract, quite the contrary," he said. "I'm still learning. We've had some difficult moments, particularly the Champions League exit, but that's part and parcel of a career. I hope that we're going to have a good season. The Europa League is an important competition for us all the same."
