City's Abdul Razak joins Anzhi on loan

Anzhi Makhachkala have signed Manchester City youngster Abdul Razak on a season long-loan deal.

Razak is yet to make a Premier League start for City
Razak is moving to Russian club Anzhi for a year.

Razak, 20, joined City from the Crystal Palace academy squad in 2010, and has since made seven appearances for the Citizens.

After spending spells on loan at Portsmouth, Brighton and Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic, the Ivory Coast international has been a key part of the Man City Elite Development Squad playing in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League.

Russian club Anzhi have had a player clear-out this summer. With their big-spending days over, Razak is their fifth loan signing of the summer, with the other four having come in from Dynamo Moscow.

Razak has made four appearances for his national team alongside City midfielder Yaya Toure. He is the second promising youngster to leave City’s youth team this summer, with Denis Suarez having joined Barcelona.
