Stoke City have signed Austria international forward Marko Arnautovic from Werder Bremen on a four-year deal.
Arnautovic, 24, arrives at the Britannia Stadium for a fee believed to be £2.6 million, with the club confirming the signing on their official Facebook page. He becomes manager Mark Hughes's fourth signing of the summer.
The player -- who moved to Bremen from Inter Milan in 2010 -- joins Dutch defender Erik Pieters, Spanish centre-back Muniesa and winger Oussama Assaidi in bolstering the Potters' squad.
"Marko is a player we have been aware of for some time and I'm really pleased we have been able to add him to our squad," Hughes told the Stoke Sentinel. "He has played at the highest level in Holland, Italy and Germany, and is keen to make his mark in England with Stoke City."
Another piece of transfer business done by Hughes this summer paid off at the weekend when Jermaine Pennant -- who was released at the end of the last season but given a new deal by the new boss -- scored the winner in Saturday's 1-0 victory at West Ham.
