Moyes admits transfers are 'going on'

Manchester United manager David Moyes admitted there are “all sorts of things going on” as he counts down the hours till the summer transfer window slams shut.

United have failed to make a significant signing this summer with Moyes himself admitting he could not guarantee there would be any new arrivals at Old Trafford.

But that has not stopped the rumour mill suggesting the Red Devils are after Athletic Bilbao’s Ander Herrera, Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini and Roma’s Italy international Daniele de Rossi.

And Moyes said he hoped the last hours of the transfer window would produce some good news for the club. 

"There's a bit of all sorts of things going on," said Moyes after his side's 1-0 loss to Liverpool.

"Maybe in the next how many hours we will get a chance, but I can't give you a heads-up.

"It's not too long before we will know."
