Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has denied the Spanish side will make a move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
Casillas has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu as he struggles to regain his spot in the Real line-up ahead of Diego Lopez.
Carlo Ancelotti has opted for Lopez in Los Blancos' opening two games of the season and it is believed Casillas has been advised to search for regular football ahead of next year's World Cup.
Atletico's current number one Thibaut Courtois, who is on loan at the club from Chelsea, was awarded the La Liga goalkeeper of the year last season and Simeone is not eager to replace the Belgian.
"Courtois is our goalie," he said. "And we have two other goalkeepers waiting for their chance. So no, we wouldn't be interested in Iker Casillas."
Meanwhile, Simeone admits he would rather Lionel Messi and Neymar be available for the second leg of Atletico's Spanish Super Cup clash with Barcelona than to beat the La Liga champions without their stars.
"I hope Messi and Neymar play because that would be a terrific show especially for all of those who will see the match on TV being relaxed in their living room," Simeone added.
"I think it is best that the best players play. Barcelona have a lot of choices, it will be up to their manager to decide who plays."
