Luke Moore has left Swansea by mutual consent.

Hicks:  Newcomers key

The 27-year-old has left the club with 10 months still on his contract, hoping to find greater first-team opportunities.

Moore joined the club from West Bromwich Albion in 2010 but has slowly slipped down the pecking order at the Liberty Stadium.

And with arrival of Wilfried Bony in July, Moore, who has been linked with Turkish club Elazigspor, finally decided to part ways with the club.

“Swansea City has parted company with striker Luke Moore by mutual consent,” A Swansea statement read.

“Moore, who joined the club from West Brom in January 2010 for an undisclosed fee, had the remaining 10 months of his contract cancelled in order for the 27-year-old to become a free agent.”

Information from the Press Association was used in this report.
