Trio could follow Neymar to Barca

Brazilian legend says the new Barcelona signing needs to get more experience if he is to become a great player.

More details about Neymar’s complicated transfer from Santos to Barcelona are coming to light, with Brazilian sports daily Lance! claiming Barca will have first refusal on three Santos starlets.

Many have questioned if Neymar will gel with Messi at Barcelona.
Neymar is under pressure to shine at the Camp Nou.

• Villagrana: Neymar a clown?

According to the newspaper, Barca paid the Brazilian club a fee of €7.9 million to be given priority over other clubs interested in signing youngsters Victor Andrade, Gabriel and Giva - all three play up front and have already caught the eye in Brazil.

Giva, 20, is the oldest of the three strikers and has already represented Santos on 18 occasions, scoring six goals.

Both Andrade and Gabriel are just 17 but have also had opportunities with the first team. Andrade has netted three times in 23 matches, while Gabriel has made just five appearances in the top flight and is still waiting for his first Santos goal.

Neymar signed for the Catalan club for €57 million this summer, but, with the ‘first refusal’ clause built into the transfer, there could be other Brazilians following him to the Camp Nou before long.
