Celtic have announced the signing Derk Boerrigter from Ajax on a four-year contract.
The winger, 26, is reported to have cost Celtic a fee in the region of £3 million.
Bhoys manager Neil Lennon said: "He is the type of player we have been looking for for a while. He is a very fast, direct, left-footed player who has goals in him with his left and right foot.
"He is also very powerful. He has good experience and he has played at a high level for the last two or three years."
Celtic said on their official website that the player will be eligible to play for the club in the Champions League qualification tie with Elfsborg on Wednesday night.
Boerrigter follows Amido Balde, Virgil Van Dijk and Steven Mouyokolo in signing for the Scottish champions this summer.
