Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Nacer Chadli after the FC Twente winger passed a medical and agreed personal terms.
On Sunday, the North London club announced that they had reached agreement to bring the 23-year-old Belgium international to White Hart Lane.
And a statement on the club's official website on Friday said: "We are delighted to confirm the signing of Nacer Chadli from FC Twente after the player agreed personal terms and successfully completed his medical.
"The Belgium international is expected to be available for the first time when we travel to Monaco for our pre-season fixture on Saturday August 3."
On Sunday, Chadli's agent, Karim Rafiki, told the Belga news agency that his client would sign a five-year contract after undergoing a medical.
Sudpress reported that the deal for Chadli, whose Twente contract was due to expire next year, would be worth around €7 million.
