New Olympiakos striker Javier Saviola hopes to “achieve great things” with his new club after being unveiled by the Greek powerhouse.
Olympiakos confirmed the signing of Saviola to a two-year deal after snaring the 31-year-old on a free transfer.
Saviola spent last season playing for La Liga outfit Malaga.
"I would like to thank the supporters who came out to welcome me and have showed me such love in my first moments here in Athens," Saviola told reporters at his unveiling.
"I am very happy to be here. I have a lot of desire and motivation to get to know my team mates and start training.
“I hope that we will manage to achieve great things this year."
