Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed they have reached an agreement to sign FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli.
The Belgium international’s agent, Karim Rafiki, had told the Belga news agency that the 23-year-old would sign a five-year contract after undergoing a medical on Sunday afternoon.
Tottenham then confirmed the transfer was imminent on their official Twitter feed.

A statement on the club's official website added: "Subject to personal terms and medical, the Belgian international winger will join up with the squad for pre-season training in Hong Kong next week.
"The 23-year-old, who has been capped on 14 occasions by his country, joined FC Twente from AGOVV Apeldoorn in 2010 and went on to make 106 appearances for the Dutch side, scoring 31 goals."
Sudpress reports that Chadli, whose Twente contract is due to expire in 2014, will cost €7 million.
