Defender Marco Motta opened the scoring in a 7-0 victory before Tevez - a £12million signing from Manchester City - doubled Juve's advantage with a cool finish on the stroke of half-time. Alessandro Matri pounced with a third shortly after the break and fellow substitute Mirko Vucinic added two penalties in as many minutes.

Academy midfielder Federico Mattiello then dummied the goalkeeper to notch in the 90th minute and Matri made it 7-0 deep into stoppage time.

The Bianconeri also handed debuts to former Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente and Italy defender Angelo Ogbonna, recently signed from Torino.

In Accrington, Darron Gibson gave Everton an 11th-minute lead, slotting in from a corner, before Victor Anichebe doubled the Toffees' advantage five minutes later when he nodded home Kevin Mirallas' cross.

The Belgium international added a goal of his own with a well-placed free-kick just before half-time, although Accrington immediately pulled a goal back through Peter Murphy.

Leon Osman sealed the win for Everton shortly after the hour mark.

Southampton won 2-1 at Spanish third tier side Llagostera tonight thanks to two goals from Jay Rodriguez.

Rodriguez broke the deadlock in the friendly in Palafrugell on the Costa Brava in the 28th minute, having earlier had a goal disallowed. The striker took advantage of a defensive mix-up to score.

The Saints conceded a headed equaliser to David Cano just after the hour mark, but Rodriguez won it six minutes later, scoring from a tight angle after Adam Lallana had a shot saved.

Elsewhere, Scottish side Hearts eased to a 5-0 win at Raith Rovers, thanks to goals from Kevin McHattie, Billy King, Jamie Walker, Ryan Stevenson and Gary Oliver.

Bayer Leverkusen recruit Heung-min Son continued his impressive form after sealing a move from Hamburg, scoring the final goal in his side's 3-0 rout of Udinese.

Simon Rolfes opened the scoring for Leverkusen before Stefan Kiessling gave the hosts a 2-0 advantage heading into the break and Son rounded off the victory.

La Liga side Malaga put their off-field troubles behind them with a 1-0 win over Belgian outfit Racing Genk. Captain Duda netted the only goal from the penalty spot.

In Wednesday's other matches, Borussia Monchengladbach beat Nurnberg 3-0, AZ Alkmaar edged Maastricht 3-0 and FC Twente raced out to a 4-0 win over fellow Dutch side Den Bosch.
