Joel Campbell's agent has confirmed to ESPN that talks are ongoing with Arsenal about where his future lies after the forward was granted a work permit to play in England.
Campbell, 21, was signed by Arsenal from Saprissa in 2011 but has since been loaned out in order to aid his development and his cause to be granted permission to represent the Gunners.
The Costa Rica international spent time on loan with Lorient before being sent to Real Betis last season, where he scored twice in 28 Liga games.
Campbell's representative, Joaquim Batica, told ESPN: "Joel has received his visa and I am in London with him working on his future.
"I had meetings with Arsenal and we are working on his next destination."
Batica has previously said that Campbell would be open to spending another campaign at Betis, although recent reports have suggested he could be sent on loan to a side in England.
