Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the "best player in the world" and has warned rivals that there is more to come from the Portugal international.
The 28-year-old Ronaldo and Madrid have been at logger-heads over a new contract, with speculation mounting that the player could return to the Premier League and Manchester United.
But after a recent interview in which Perez said he believed Ronald "will retire" at the Bernabeu, the club's president was again outlining the Portuguese's importance in the Spanish capital.
"He is the face of the team and the best player in the world," Perez told Gol Caracol on Friday, after admitting Brazilian Kaka would stay at the club. "He is going to give us much more satisfaction for his talent, ambition and enthusiasm; and now he has reached a perfect relationship with the fans.
"We are yet to see the best of him. He can be the best of all time."
