Suso joins Almeria on loan

Liverpool youngster Suso will spend the season on loan with Almeria.

Suso broke into the Liverpool team last season.
Suso enjoyed a run in the Liverpool team last season.

Suso, 19, joined the Reds from Cadiz in 2010 and made his senior debut for the club in September last year under Brendan Rodgers.

The Spain Under-21 international made 14 Premier League appearances in total last season, but barely featured after the turn of the year as new signings restricted his opportunities, and he will now look to gain first-team experience in La Liga.

A statement on Liverpool’s official website read: “Liverpool have confirmed Suso has joined Union Deportiva Almeria on a season-long loan deal. The 19-year-old will spend the 2013-14 season with the newly promoted La Liga club.”

Almeria have already brought in Barcelona B forward Rodri on loan.
