Totti hints at retirement in 2014

Roma striker Francesco Totti has indicated that he will hang up his boots at the end of this season.

Speaking at the presentation of Roma's new playing shirt for next season on Thursday, Totti, 36, said: "I've worn lots of shirts, but this is the last one."

Roma will produce a new strip for 2014-15, and the chances of Totti wearing it appear to be slim.

He is under contract until the end of the 2013-14 season but the Giallorossi have yet to begin talks on extending that deal, even though he has made it clear he would like to play for at least another year.

New coach Rudi Garcia had a succinct analysis of the new kit, saying: "This shirt is unique, and we're going to win with it."
